This sector is an outlet for pork and poultry fats  Animal fats stemming from the cooking of animals by-products can be used to the manufacturing of a type of biofuels: the biodiesel.

Intended for the diesel engines, the Biodiesel is made from plants containing some oil, or worn oil or animal fats.

The manufacturing process passes by a filtration, a purification and the reaction of the fat with some methanol ( trans-estérification ) which ends up  in the Biodiesel after a last purification.
